About Me

Who I am

I’m Clare Chika Nwachukwu — a writer and strategist working with founders and growing companies to shape how they communicate, what they do, and why it matters.

I hold an MBA from the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University, and my background spans B2B and B2C sales and marketing. I’ve worked in enterprise SaaS environments, supported full commercial cycles, and seen firsthand how decisions actually get made — not just in theory, but in practice.

That experience shapes how I write.

I don’t approach writing as just content creation. I approach it as communication design by understanding what needs to be said, why it matters, and how it should land with the people reading it. The MBA gave me structure. Sales gave me instinct. Writing is where both come together.

What I do

I work with founders and growing companies to communicate with clarity, intention, and depth.

For brands, that means shaping how the company sounds and what it stands for — turning ideas into clear, consistent communication across blogs, websites, and long-form content. Work that builds recognition over time, not just visibility.

For founders, it means translating thinking into voice. Your ideas, perspective, and point of view shaped into writing that builds credibility and presence, whether that’s on LinkedIn, in essays, newsletters, or thought leadership pieces that position you as the defining voice in your space.

For teams that need direction before they need words — it starts with the right questions. What do you actually want to say? Who needs to hear it? What do they need to believe? Messaging, positioning, and content structure that make everything downstream sharper and easier to execute.

I'm also the author of The Roundtable — a Substack where I write personal essays on ambition, growth, and what it honestly takes to build something that matters. Four years of writing for myself, without briefs or constraints. That practice informs the depth and clarity I bring to every client engagement.

Outside of writing, I host conversations built around intentional dialogue and spend time exploring new places whenever I can.

How I work

Every engagement starts with a conversation — not a brief. I want to understand your goals, your audience, and where your communication currently falls short before a single word gets written.

From there the process is straightforward:

01 — Discovery

We talk through what you're building, who you're building it for, and what you need people to understand. I ask the questions most writers skip, because the thinking behind the brief matters as much as the brief itself.

02 — Strategy and writing

I build the plan, do the research, and write the content. Drafts delivered clean, on time, and on voice — ready for your feedback, not your line edits.

03 — Review and publish

We refine together until it's right. You get content that sounds like you. It’s sharper, clearer, and more confident than anything you'd have written in the gaps between everything else.
